Registration Steps
In order to get a Trademark registered it needs to be follow the procedures as mentioned in the Trademarks Act. The Procedure is as follows
- Step 1: Filing of Trademark Application
- Step 2: Registry will check if the Formality as mentioned under the Act and Rules are complied or not.
- Step 3: If Formality check is passed, the registry will examine the mark for Objection or Acceptance.
- Step 4: If accepted, The Registry will publish the mark in Journal for 4 months
- Step 5: If no opposition is received, Registry issues the Registration Certificates
